The Beverly/Normandie district is approximately 192 acres in size bordered by Beverly Boulevard on the north, New Hampshire Avenue on the east, Third Street on the south and Normandie Avenue on the west. This area contains a mixture of neighborhood retail and various ethnic businesses and grocery stores, which serve the densely populated multi-family residential district.  Crime is at an all-time low, and police presence is excellent.

The City of Los Angeles is helping owners to repair and restore damaged residential and commercial buildings, thus supporting reconstruction and re-occupancy of commercial centers, and encouraging the return of consumer and resident confidence within this area.
